Borough Offices Closed - Borough Offices will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2015 in observance of Good Friday.

Spring Brush Chipping Program Begins - Monday, April 6, 2015/all brush (1/2" to 4" in diameter only) must be placed at the curb by 7:00am. The chipper will pass through the Borough one time. The chipping service may take several weeks to get to all areas of the borough depending on the amount of brush placed at the curb. It is imperative that residents have your brush at the curb on the first Monday of the chipping season. Please cut and place your brush perpendicular to the curb with the butt end out. This service is provided for brush and tree trimmings only. No thorn bushes accepted. If you have a tree or trees to dispose of, you must contact a private contractor. Borough crews will not spend more than 15 minutes chipping brush at your home.

Deer Management Committee Meeting - CANCELLED - The Franklin Park Borough Deer Management Committee will hold regular monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. prevailing local time, from February 2015 through April 2015, in the Municipal Building conference room, 2344 W. Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. The Committee will examine the health, safety and other impacts deer have on Franklin Park Borough residents.

Seniors Program - Our Senior Program is held at the Blueberry Hill Activity Center the second Thursday of every month from 11:00am-1:00pm. Many Seniors (anyone age 55+) enjoy the monthly programs, socializing, meeting new friends and enjoying various delicious foods. Program fee: $15 (yearly) and $2 for lunch at each program.

Leaf Bag Collection - Mondays Only/April 13, 20, and 27, 2015. (All bags must be placed at the curb by 7:00am) The Borough will only collect leaves in biodegradable paper bags. Please refrain from putting rocks, sticks, plastic bottles, etc. in the bags. These items will contaminate the mulch. Please leave enough room at the top of the bag so you can either fold or roll it closed.

Digital Photo Contest - The Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) invites all residents who are 18 years or older to enter the 2015 Digital Photo Contest: The Nature of Franklin Park (the "Contest"). Participants must abide by all official rules, terms and conditions before submitting photos! Full information about the Contest can be found at: http://www.franklinparkborough.us/currentevents/bulletins.html. Printed copies are available at the Franklin Park Borough municipal building during normal business hours. Entries can be submitted starting April 20, 2015.
