Baiting will continue for one or two weeks and be carried out by Health Department workers wearing t-shirts and driving vehicles marked to identify them as part of the "Rabies Control Team." Nearly 193,000 baits will be distributed by hand in all 130 municipalities. The health department urges people to avoid contact with the bait and never touch it with bare hands.
