Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary Spaghetti Dinner - Support your local fire department and enjoy a delicious dinner at the same time. Come Saturday, May 4th from 4:00pm-7:00pm to the fire hall on Rochester Road. Dinner includes: Spaghetti, salad, bread/butter, coffee, iced tea, lemonade and cake. Call the fire hall with any questions 412-364-5670.
Children 4-12: Presale - $4/Door - $5
Adults: Presale - $7/Door - $8

Senior Program - Our senior program held the second Thursday of every month from 11:00am-1:00pm has been very successful and well attended. Many seniors are enjoying the monthly programs, socializing, meeting new friends and enjoying a variety of delicious foods. (This months program: Ingomar Middle School Jazz Band)
WHO: Anyone age 55+
WHERE: Blueberry Hill Park Activity Center
WHEN: 2nd Thursday of each month
TIME: 11:00am-1:00pm
FEE: $10 yearly dues, and $2 for lunch at each program

Free Electronic Recycling Event
- The recycling event will take place a the Franklin Park Municipal Building at 2344 West Ingomar Road in the parking lot in the rear of the building. This event is sponsored by Goodwill of Southwestern PA. Recycle unwanted computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, TV's, VCR's, stereo systems, cell phones, digital cameras, microwaves and more! All items recycled for free!
All data hard-drives are destroyed to Department of Defense standards. Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is the non-profit of choice for Safe, Easy and Free recycling of computers and electronics.

Movies in the Park - Bring a lawn chair or beach blanket and enjoy family movies for free. Movies start at dusk and refreshments are sold Movies are shown by the Log House in Blueberry Hill Park. June movie: "The Lorax"  rated PG.

Festival in the Park - Mark your calendar for June 22nd and start your summer off right with the 28th annual Festival in the Park at Blueberry Hill Park. This summer tradition for residents and friends of the Borough begins at 2:30pm with family friendly activities. Enjoy music, food, meet other residents and end the night with a wonderful display of fireworks. Borough residents keep your eyes open for the festival flyer in the mail, providing more details. More information will also be posted to the website when available.
