Golf Course Clubhouse & Groundstaff -
Positions available at Clover Hill Golf Course, 40 hour work
week. Weekends required. March through November. Must be 18
or older. Applications available at the golf course or the
Franklin Park Borough Municipal Building.
Park Facility Supervisor -
This is a part time position shared with two other
supervisors. The successful applicant will be required to
work some evenings and weekends at the Blueberry Hill Park
Activity Center. The responsibilities will include:
supervision of the activity when open, especially during
rentals; making sure renters follow all rental procedures;
keeping the restrooms at the Activity Center, Pavilion and
baseball fields supplied with paper products and cleaned;
assisting with trash pickup, especially during the baseball
seasons; overseeing rentals at the Maple Grove Pavilion, and
the Gazebo.

Borough Council is seeking residents to serve on the
following Boards/Commissions. Interested residents should
submit a letter of interest and/or resume to the Franklin Park Borough Manager, 2344 West Ingomar
Road, Pittsburgh PA 15237.
Environmental Advisory Committee - Franklin
Park has an active Environmental Advisory Council
(EAC). The EAC is an advisory body to Borough Council.
The EAC meets monthly to discuss and comment on pending
developments, environmental issues, comprehensive plan
updates, zoning and subdivision ordinance revisions, and
other matters such as updating local environmental
inventories and assessments. The EAC advises the
borough Planning Commission and Borough Council. The EAC is
composed of borough residents, and its Chairman attends both
borough Planning Commission meetings and Council meetings to
comment on each land development application. Seven (7)
members are appointed by Borough Council for a three-year
term. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at
7:30pm
Recreation Board - The
Recreation Board is an advisory board to Borough Council and
is responsible for recreation issues and implementation of
parks and recreation programs, including Festival in the
Park, Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Party and more. Nine (9)
members, appointed by Borough Council for a five-year term.
