Coon hunting was popular country activity.  Pictured second from left is Jim McAleer, a nationally known field-trial judge, breeder and trainer of setters, beagles, and foxhounds.

John and Edna Wright Crispens' general store stood at the intersection of Rochester and West Ingomar roads in the Old Ingomar section of Franklin Township.  Originally operated by the Wright family, the store was torn down in the early 1960's and replaced with a service station.
