The need for increased fitness across the country
is striking. According to the Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention, 17.6% of U.S. teenagers were obese in 2006
- more than triple the rate in 1980. The CDC says, obesity
puts teens at increased risk for heart disease, bone and
joint problems, sleep apnea and psychological problems.
Boot Camp-Style fitness classes for kids: Kids will be
doing obstacle courses and drills designated for their age
and developmental level. Every class will be different,
keeping them interested and giving them challenges that
will invigorate their minds and bodies. We also play
sports games that focus on fitness and effort, not
