PARK MUNICIPAL BUILDING IS NOW A REGISTRATION CENTER FOR THE
ACCESS 65+ PROGRAM AND THE PORT AUTHORITY
SENIOR CITIZEN FREE PASS PROGRAM
Effective August 1, 2008, eligible Franklin Park senior
citizens (age 65 and over) can register at the municipal
building for the ACCESS 65+ Program and the Port Authority
Senior Citizen Transit Free Pass Program.
ACCESS 65+ PROGRAM
Franklin
Park senior citizens age 65 or over can apply for the ACCESS
65+ Program at the municipal building. When applying,
eligible seniors must appear in person at the municipal
building, complete and sign the required form and present
one of the following as proof of age:

Certificate
-
Baptismal Certificate
-
Photo
Driver’s License
-
PennDOT Non-Driver’s License
-
Passport
-
PACE
Card
-
Verification Statement from Social Security Administration
-
Military Discharge Papers
-
Immigration/Naturalization Papers
-
Resident Alien Card
-
Veteran’s Universal Access ID Card
The
municipal staff will sign the application form to verify the
information is true and correct and will then forward the
application directly to ACCESS. Applicants will then
receive an ID card, along with a ticket order form and
ACCESS brochures. Tickets must be purchased directly
from ACCESS through the mail. Tickets cannot be
purchased at the municipal building.
PORT AUTHORITY SENIOR CITIZEN TRANSIT FREE PASS PROGRAM
Franklin
Park senior citizens age 65 or over can apply for a Port
Authority senior citizen transit free pass at the municipal
building. This pass entitles seniors to ride free of charge
on all Port Authority transportation. When applying,
eligible seniors must appear in person at the municipal
building, complete and sign the required form and present
one of the following as proof of age:

Armed
Forces Discharge/Separation Papers

Veteran’s Universal Access ID card

Administration
The
municipal staff will sign the application form to verify the
information is true and correct and will then forward the
application directly to the Port Authority. The Port
Authority will then process your application and mail your
free pass directly to you.

Senior Citizen Programs:
Franklin Park Computer Club: LSS SeniorNet Learning
Center will be conducting weekly computer workshops for
seniors in Franklin Park and surrounding communities. The
workshops will be held in the SeniorNet Learning Center in
the Franklin Park Borough Building every Wednesday from
1:00pm-3:00pm and occur throughout the year. A variety of
computer and Internet related topics will be discussed via
demonstration and hands-on experience. This program is open
to all adults age 50+. Tuition is $10.00. Pre registration
is required. For more information and registration please

Over The Blueberry Hill Gang: Our senior program held
the second Thursday of every month from 11:00am to 1:00pm
has been very successful and well attended. Many seniors are
enjoying the monthly programs, socializing, meeting new
friends and enjoying a variety of delicious foods. All

Clover Hill Golf Course: For the past 19 years,
Clover Hill has provided recreation to golfers of all skill
levels and offered seniors a discounted price to play golf.
Greens fees for 9 hole weekday play is $8.50 and 9 hole
weekend play is $9.50. Season passes are also available at
discounted prices for seniors. For any questions or comments
