BOROUGH OF FRANKLIN PARK
2025 PUBLIC MEETINGS
Notice is hereby given that the following regular monthly meetings of the Borough of Franklin Park will be held in 2025. Some meetings may be held virtually via remote audio and video conference services (virtual) or a combination of in-person and virtual (hybrid). Meetings will be held in-person or hybrid unless otherwise indicated when the agenda is posted or noted on the calendar located on the Borough’s website. Access information for virtual and hybrid meetings is listed on the meeting agenda and available on the Borough’s website. All in-person and hybrid meetings will be held at the Municipal Building, 2344 West Ingomar Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, prevailing local time and are subject to changes in dates and times. All meetings are open to the public. Meeting agendas and minutes are available on the Borough’s website: www.franklinparkborough.us.
BOROUGH COUNCIL:
Committee Meetings - Borough Council Committee Meetings will be held “as needed” on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Committees include Finance, Personnel, Public Works, Public Safety, Land Use/Planning, Parks/Recreation, Stormwater, Technology, and any other committees authorized by Borough Council.
Work Session Meetings - A work session of Borough Council will be held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room.
Pre/Post Meetings - Prior to the commencement of its regular meeting at 8:00 p.m., Council gathers in the conference room at 7:00 p.m. for a Pre-Meeting to review the agenda and other matters that may come before Council. If necessary, Council may retire to the conference room after the regular meeting for presentation by staff, and to discuss at length, matters of substance.
Regular Meetings - The regular monthly meetings of Borough Council will be held the third Wednesday of each month at 8:00 p.m. Public comment for virtual and hybrid meetings may be submitted via the remote audio and video conference service or may be submitted in writing to publiccomments@franklinparkborough.us prior to 12:00 noon eastern time on the day of Borough Council regular meetings.
BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS - On call. Each meeting will be publicly advertised.
CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION - On call. Each meeting will be publicly advertised.
ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY COUNCIL - First Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. with the exception of the September meeting that will be held on Monday, September 8th due to Labor Day.
PLANNING COMMISSION - Third Tuesday of each month at 8:00 p.m. The Planning Commission gathers in the Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m. for agenda review and other matters that may come before the Planning Commission, prior to the commencement of its regular meeting at 8:00 p.m.
RECREATION BOARD - Fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY COMMITTEE – First Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
ZONING HEARING BOARD - On call. When meetings are necessary, they are scheduled for the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Each meeting will be publicly advertised.
