No Solicitation List
Subscribing to the No Solicitation List
If you do not wish to have commercial solicitors approach your door we do maintain a “No Solicitation” list and offer no soliciting stickers to be placed on your door. The "No Solicitation" list does not apply to religious, political, or non-profit organizations since they do not have to register with the Borough. However, they are required to abide by any posted "No Canvassing" sign. The stickers we provide include all door to door activities; soliciting, peddling and canvassing.
Your address only has to be submitted once. Submission to the ‘No Solicitation’ List is only applicable from the date submitted. Businesses that have permits before that date may still solicit to your home unless you have a ‘No Soliciting’ sign on your door. You can be placed on the list and/or request a sticker one of the following ways:
- Complete the online Subscribe to No Solicitation List form and submit it
electronically. - Download the Subscribe to No Solicitation List form, submit the completed form
either in-person, by mail, placing it in the drop-off box or by email to
dplatt@franklinparkborugh.us. - By calling Donna Platt at 412-364-4115 , Ext. 302 or emailing dplatt@franklinparkborough.us.
Solicitors not abiding by the No Solicitation List and/or No Solicitation sticker are in violation of our Solicitation Ordnance.
